DESCENDANT

Baba-kun and I have known each other since before we had our children; we were also neighbors. Unfortunately, they moved after they had a baby, but they are still Komazawa locals. He opened a very popular hair salon called STILL LIGHTS in Komazawa.

"I used to cut Tetsu's family's hair, and we lived near each other and became good friends. Tetsu had asked me several times if I could cut his hair, but the timing never worked out, so I've never cut his hair." (Laughs)

It’s been exactly a year since I became independent and started STILL LIGHTS. I’m glad the salon is spacious and that many people from the neighborhood come to visit. All of the stylists are always smiling and working really hard.

The salon's name, STILL LIGHTS, was chosen to represent "staying in that place and keeping the lights on." Even though the times change, we want to remain firmly in the same mindset.

I often wear DESCENDANT while at work. Due to the nature of my job, my clothes become stained from dye. I often wear their T-shirts, and especially the pants. I’ve been wearing DESCENDANT for almost 10 years, since its second season.

On the weekends, I go to Komazawa Park to play with my kids or go running. I’m happy to have T-shirts that my kids can wear.” (Kazuma Baba)

The DESCENDANT 2024 Summer Additionals Collection, introduced this time, will be available at all DESCENDANT stores and dealers on Thursday, 8/1. The KIDS T-shirts will only be available at Descendant Tokyo, Kyoto, Hiroshima and the official online store.
