DESCENDANT

THINC PROJECT is an approach to the issues that manufacturing will face in the future. A project that “thinks” and puts into practice. We will hold the first THINC PROJECT event at DESCENDANT HIROSHIMA on December 11th. To effectively use the collection samples that we have stocked for the past seasons, we have created new six-panel caps by combining parts by cutting the fabric of trousers and shirts. Fabrics with different textiles such as twill, corduroy, and denim are arranged for each panel, and the waste materials are used for the brim and sweatband. There are tonal options in beige, navy, and crazy patterns with mixed colors that look like an upcycled swatch book. On the day of the event, along with the six-panel cap made from samples, we will also release a limited number of screen printed T-shirts with the THINC PROJECT logo, which symbolizes the blue earth and emphasizes the importance of continuation. Customers who purchase the six-panel cap will be offered name initial embroidery service.

The director of DESCENDANT will also be present on the day of the event to convey THINC PROJECT's efforts to reduce the environmental burden by upcycling resources. If you are interested in attending the THNIC PROJECT event, please be sure to apply beforehand for entry.
