DESCENDANT

A first edition from publishing label “sign”, produced by DESCENDANT, we will be publishing the latest edition “I HAVEN'T SEEN HIM”, by photographer Taro Hirano.
The theme of this work is Hawaii's famous site “Wallows”, that appears in the skateboard video “The Search for Animal Chin”, released in 1987. Since the youthful artist was fascinated by this video, he unleashed the thoughts he had recruited in his heart and completed a collection of photographs taken locally. Also included in the photo book, are comments from members of the time, BONES BRIGADE.
To celebrate this release, from Friday, May 24th through Sunday, June 2nd, the photo exhibition “I HAVEN'T SEEN HIM”, will be held at BOOKMARC in Harajuku. On the opening day, a signed book by the artist himself will be available for those who purchased the photo book, and through various related events that will be held during the photo exhibition, we plan for you to experience the depths of this culture.

At the same time, we will introduce limited items that will be exclusively available at the photo exhibition.
