Everyday workwear.

DWU is an acronym for DESCENDANT WORK UNIFORM. Although it is literal, the category of workwear is developed in the DESCENDANT collections.

When it comes to workwear, whether American or Japanese, you probably think of work clothes that the daily workforce wears, but at DESCENDANT, we create DWU with the image of something that can be used for everyday "work."

I think there are various works in many different situations, such as walking the dog, fishing, field work, desk work and so on. There are some functions of clothing that require the use of or carrying tools. By making six-pocket cargo pants and shirts with chest pockets like the BDU, I wanted to discover the potential of utility pockets.

PANTS: BUCKET CARGO TROUSERS

Pockets are actually really important. They allow you to rest your hands and hold things, carrying them and allowing your hands to be free. I always put my gloves in the side pocket of my cargo pants. Some people hold pens and notebooks in their shirt pockets.

When I think back to when I was in elementary school, there were high-tech pen cases that opened in many ways with different compartments. When I became a junior high school student, I admired the American high school bag, which had pen slits and pockets to store study tools which is the reason why I still like to organize with pockets.

Making good use of pockets to fit your own lifestyle and work style is fun, and it’s a great feeling to create and use them in your own style and functionality.

PANTS: BUCKET CARGO SHORTS
HAT: BOONIE HAT

By the way, DWU use’s materials that are wrinkle-resistant, quick drying and sturdy. It’s similar to the material that cooks and chefs wear. It is also used for shop coats and white coats.
There is nothing better than this in terms of function.
