FEATURE 132
Ladies’ capsule collectionwith BOUTIQUE.
Together with Keiji Kaneko of BOUTIQUE, a shop in Aoyama that offers vintage wear for women, we created a capsule collection centered on women’s items.
Previously, Kaneko-san from BOUTIQUE showed us some early summer style samples in “NICE TO MEET YOU!” (FEATURE115). Because Kaneko-san regularly wears DESCENDANT’s “DC-6” chino trousers, we were able to create products for women that were currently not available at DESCENDANT.
“Chino trousers for women.”
Kaneko-san’s ideas for styling materialized. We first modified the “DC-6” chino trousers that are without pleats and the “DC-3” chino trousers that are with pleats. The darts at the waist were doubled to create a rounded look, and the rise was adjusted to look deeper and more balanced, creating a fit that suits women.
The high-neck, long sleeved “CYLINDER” has nice blousing that is tightly tapered around the hem. It is very soft and quite comfortable to wear.
The crewneck long sleeve T-shirt and six-panel cap have the DESCENDANT original body and the BOUTIQUE logo. We also made a key tag as a support item. Size permitting, these items can also be worn by men.
Combined with the vintage clothes sold at BOUTIQUE, it makes for a fun and uplifting outfit.
These items are exclusive to BOUTIQUE and will only be available there. Please invite your wife, girlfriend and friends to stop by BOUTIQUE. It’s a wonderful store.
