DESCENDANT

Since the time we launched DESCENDANT, we have been working together with Ron Herman. I believe it was in 2017 when we held an event at Ron Herman’s store parking lot in Sendagaya, featuring game booths and a food court reminiscent of a traveling American carnival. It was our first time doing something like that, so it was quite challenging, but it remains an unforgettable memory.

Even now, we continue to collaborate on products during Golden Week, summer break, and Christmas holidays, regularly hosting events and workshops. For this summer, we’ve prepared a special all-black collection available exclusively at Ron Herman.

The T-shirts come in black and faded black, with black prints on top. These feature the same graphics as our inline items, but this is a special edition available only at Ron Herman. The staff at Ron Herman all seem to love black and often wear black clothes, so it felt only natural to create a black-focused collection.

Ron Herman has stores not only in Tokyo’s city center but also by the sea, in places like Zushi Marina, Tsujido, and Shichirigahama (RHC Ron Herman), as well as Waikiki, Hawaii. DESCENDANT also feels a certain connection to the ocean, so I’d like to continue cherishing that shared sensibility as we work together on future products and events.
