Director’s Cut Kyoto. 2025 Autumn / Winter COLLECTIONWe present the Director’s Cut of the 2025 Autumn & Winter Collection, coming to you from Kyoto.

DESCENDANT KYOTO is overseen by Tomoki Dosaka. Although he happened to be away from Kyoto this time, we were able to meet with staff members Motomori, Sato, Sasaki, and Hoshino.
Kyoto has its own kind of Japanese “trad” (traditions), distinct from both Harajuku and Hiroshima. The interior design, familiar to many as the work of raregem, takes inspiration from a yacht cabin. The unique character of Kyoto seems to highlight and complement the traditional element within DESCENDANT’s style.

The crew at DESCENDANT KYOTO not only make the brand their own in their own way, but also maintains a sense of style that never disrupts the ambience of the city. They wear what they love, how they love to wear it, while blending naturally into Kyoto’s surroundings.
In fact, staff members from DESCENDANT TOKYO and DESCENDANT KYOTO regularly rotate between the two locations. Sometimes Kyoto staff can be working in the Tokyo shop and sometimes Tokyo staff are assisting customers in Kyoto. Today, the Harajuku crew was on the floor assisting customers in Kyoto.
